I would like to take this opportunity to just say Thank You to everyone at Cornerstone Financial and especially Nancy Howard for all the hard work, thorough researching and personal attention that was given to me and my account this year. I was experiencing a very, very difficult situation with Sloan Kettering's billing department and eventually Sloan's collection agency. The bills for my treatment at Sloan were tremendously high, and I was not getting anywhere with them on backup for the bills being sent to me. After quite a few stressful conversations with the Collection Agency, I did not know how this was going to be resolved, so I called Cornerstone and spoke with Nancy, who assured me that she would look into the matter and would see what she could do. Well, Nancy not only looked into the matter but she took it to be her mission to clear it up. She spent endless hours working on spreadsheets, making phone calls and researching the amounts paid to Sloan. She went out of her way to make sure that the stress was taken out of this matter for me. Nancy, and everyone at Cornerstone made a bad situation much more manageable. Nancy cleared up this matter completely and resolved the outstanding balance that was owed to Sloan. Without Nancy and Cornerstone's thorough research and attention I would have had to pay extremely more than what was due. I can not Thank Nancy enough for everything she did. Nancy and eveyone at Cornerstone were always a friendly voice at the other end of the phone and became a friend that you could count on. Thanks You again and again.

Just a brief note to tell you how helpful Nancy was in resolving one of Donna’s claim with BC/BS. Despite Donna’s phone calls to BC/BS; the Doctor’s authorization; and my phone call after they denied the claim, Nancy “convinced” them that we should be reimbursed.  So, we were happy to get a check for $251 as partial payment for a $798.10 injectable.  But the story doesn’t end there!

Nancy asked me to fax a copy of the EOB to her after I received it...which I did.  Somehow, after she received it, she “convinced’ BC/BS to pay an additional $547.10 (plus interest!)...which means the claim was COMPLETELY paid.

Nancy is a wonderful complement to the other terrific people you have at Cornerstone Financial Group.
